National Personal Safety Day

The National Personal Safety Day was held on the 23rd March 2017. The National Personal Safety Awards was a moving and inspirational event and it was particularly poignant that this year’s Awards took place the day after the attacks on Westminster, Wednesday 22nd March.  A moments pause was held in memory of those affected by the attacks and tribute was given to the police for all they do to keep us safe.

The event celebrated and recognised the hard work of individuals and groups who through their work and commitment to personal safety make a real contribution to keeping people safe.

Peoplesafe, one of the UK’s leading providers of lone worker safety solutions, supported the awards for a second year running.

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust led the awareness day and have further personal information information on their site.
